Lampe, Motiejunas score 41 points each in China

The Shandong Golden Stars and the Jilin Northeast Tigers are among the teams gunning for a playoffs spot down the stretch of the Chinese League’s Regular Season. Their European aces, Donatas Motiejunas and Maciej Lampe respectively, put their mark on their team’s win on Thursday pouring 41 points each.

The 28-year-old Lithuanian center was 18/31 from the field in 35 minutes of action. However, his massive offensive effort wasn’t a game-high for the Golden Stars as Ty Lawson posted 54 points in the 137-128 victory against the Shanxi Brave Dragons.

Lampe set a new career-high with his 41 points. The 34-year-old Polish forward/center led the Northeast Tigers to their 123-96 win over the Beijing Ducks making 14/15 inside the rainbow and grabbing 14 rebounds as well.
