Maccabi Tel Aviv leads 1-0 against Hapoel Tel Aviv

Maccabi Tel Aviv went ahead in double-digits after the first quarter (23-11) and they stayed ahead until the very end for an 89-67 home win over Hapoel Tel Aviv in Game 1 of the Israeli League playoffs.

DeAndre Kane led the victors with 15 points while Scottie Wilbekin scored 14 and Tarik Black 12 points in addition to Jake Cohen’s 11. Jeremy Pargo wasn’t on the roster for this game.

On the other side, Jerrel McNeal scored 15 followed by Raviv Milonad’s 12 points. Tomer Ginat notched a double-double with 11 points and ten rebounds.

Game 2 of the best-of-three series will be played on Monday, May 27 in front of Hapoel Tel Aviv’s crowd.
