Zalgiris Kaunas defeated rivals Rytas Vilnius at home with a 78-72 victory to extend its winning streak to 13 games this season in the Lithuanian League.
Arturas Milaknis and Jock Landale led the winning side with 14 and 12 points each, while Eimantas Bendzius posted a game-high 17-point performance for the Vilnius side.
Rytas took control in the first half and led 42-37, though Zalgiris kept their visitors just to 10 points in the fourth quarter.
