ASVEL survives in a thrilling game against Le Portel

After losing 62-69 to EA7 Emporio Armani Milan in the 2022-23 EuroLeague, ASVEL gets back to the winning side by beating Le Portel 82-85, but suffering and struggling for the whole game of France’s Betclic Elite LNB Pro A.

Former Baskonia player Youssoupha Fall was a determinant for TJ Parker’s team, ending with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 8/12 from the field. Nando De Colo added 11 points and his experience in the crucial moments of the game.

The two other newcomers Retin Obasohan (10 p.) and Jonah Mathews (8 p., 4 r., 6 a.) gave their best in order to get the victory on the road.

The home team went really close to a potential upset against the French champions with five players in double digits. Terry Allen and Emmanuel Nzekwesi combined for 35 points, but they weren’t enough.
