A brilliant showing spilling into overtime, rising star Victor Wembanyama helped Metropolitans 92 grab the win, 95-91, against JL Bourg Saturday night.

Wembanyama, 18, recorded 23 points with six made free throws in overtime and 7/12 field goals over 36 minutes. In addition, he rejected four shots, including two key defensive efforts in the extra period. Pulling down ten rebounds formed the double-double in the Betclic Elite LNB Pro A Regular Season Round 7 contest.

The game was streamed on the NBA App in North America. Besides the incredible reach and further qualities of Wembanyama, the frontrunner to be selected with the first overall pick of the 2023 NBA draft, viewers saw his side improve to 5-1 in the French league with a fifth win in a row. The hosts fell to 3-4.
