Victor Wembanyama shows insane moves, posts a double-double

Victor Wembanyama went off to a great start and delivered a double-double for Metropolitans 92 Tuesday.

Wembanyama, 19, tallied 26 points with 9/16 field goals, including 4/6 from downtown in France’s Betclic Elite LNB Pro A Regular Season Round 26 contest.

The promising youngster, expected to be selected first overall in the 2023 NBA draft, displayed his range, besides using his tremendous reach to dominate inside the paint. Lasting 35 minutes, he added ten rebounds, three blocks, and two assists in the home win.

The team coached by Vincent Collet jumping to 18-8 reduced the distance from league-leading AS Monaco to 2.5 games with eight fixtures remaining in the double-legged round-robin schedule of the Regular Season. The Mets are set to take on La Roca Team in Salle Gaston Medecin for Round 27 Sunday.

In the shadow of Wembanyama and highlighting the rest of Tuesday’s action, Roanne captain Ronald March Jr. tallied 32 points, seven assists, four rebounds, and two steals for the win, 101-96, over BCM Gravelines-Dunkerque in Sportica. In Palais des Sports de Dijon, JDA Dijon rallied past Limoges CSP, 75-69, for a key win.
