Monaco stepped up in the second half and got the job done on the road (79-93) against Nancy to remain the leaders of the LNB.
Nikola Mirotic (23 points, 5/7 from beyond the arc) and Elie Okobo (16 p.) were the top scorers for coach Vassilis Spanoulis’ team. Mike James, Daniel Theis, and Yoan Makoundou did not play.
After a close first half (41-42), despite Mirotic’s 17 points, Okobo and David Michineau stepped up in the third quarter, and Monaco grabbed the away win (79-93) to stay on top of the LNB.
Nanterre climbed to the second position after a win on the road (88-97) against Dijon and JL Bourg’s home defeat to Strasbourg (77-80).
