Monaco won the French Leaders Cup this year after defeating Le Mans 103-79 in the grand final.
Elie Okobo scored 19 points and led his team to the trophy, Jaron Blossomgame added 17, while Daniel Theis scored 15 points with 9 rebounds. Alpha Diallo was also in double figures with 14 points, Mike James had 12 with 9 assists, and Matthew Strazel added 10.
On the other side, Johnny Berhanemeskel led his team with 22 points, while Lucas Dufeal was also in double figures with 11.
Le Mans won the trophy against Monaco last season, but easily fell in the grand final this time. The game was decided in the first quarter, which Vasilis Spanoulis’ team won 30-12 and easily maintained the lead until the end.
This is Monaco’s fourth Leaders Cup in history, and they had been waiting for the trophy since 2018.
