Monaco secured a victory in Game 2 of the French Championship finals, defeating Paris away with a score of 102-90.
Matthew Strazel scored 22 points and had nine assists, Alpha Diallo matched his points tally, Elie Okobo added 17, while Jaron Blossomgame contributed 11 points for the visiting team.
On the other hand, Nadir Hifi was the top scorer with 20 points and eight assists, but lacked support from teammates, as only Santi Herrera joined him in double figures with 19 points.
Three days after Paris celebrated a dramatic win in Game 1, Monaco managed to level the series with an outstanding performance in the French capital.
Gladyr’s team won the first quarter with a significant 28-15 lead, including a 10-0 run midway through the period. After that, Paris was unable to get back into the game. Monaco’s lead grew to more than 20 points at one point, but Paris managed a 13-3 run at the end of the third quarter to get back into the game (67-77).
However, Monaco managed to pull away again and comfortably closed out the game, securing their first win in the series.
The third game of the finals is scheduled for Friday, starting at 20:55 CEST.
