Paris Basketball reclaimed home-court advantage in the LNB Finals after defeating Monaco 88-77 on the road, taking a 2-1 lead in the best-of-five championship series.
The victory puts the team from the French capital just one win away from securing the league title. Another success in Monaco in Game 4 would see Paris crowned champions without the series returning home.
Despite trailing 44-40 at halftime, Paris produced a stunning fourth-quarter performance to turn the game around. A dominant 30-16 final period proved decisive, as the visitors overwhelmed Monaco on both ends of the floor to pull away late.
Lamar Stevens led the way for Paris with 24 points, while Nadir Hifi added 22 in another impressive offensive display. Their scoring proved too much for Monaco, who were unable to respond after losing momentum in the closing stages.
For the hosts, Elie Okobo finished as the leading scorer with 15 points. Monaco appeared to be in control after the opening two quarters, but failed to contain Paris’ offensive surge in the final quarter as the visitors seized control of both the game and the series.
With the momentum now firmly on their side, Paris Basketball heads into Game 4 knowing that one more victory on Monaco’s court would secure the French championship.
