Paris Basketball has the largest projected budget in Betclic ÉLITE for the first time, leading the league’s 2026–27 financial rankings with €30.9 million.
According to figures released by the LNB, and reported by BeBasket, Paris’s budget has increased by seven percent, while its league-leading payroll stands at €8.2 million, up three percent.
ASVEL follows with a club-record €24.8 million budget, well below the initially proposed €59 million. Its payroll rose by 73 percent, the biggest increase in the competition.
The gap behind the EuroLeague pair remains substantial. Bourg ranks third with a record €8.2 million budget, roughly a third of ASVEL’s.
Monaco’s absence has pushed the league’s average budget down 12 percent and average payroll down 24 percent. However, the median budget has risen three percent to €6.6 million. Clubs outside the EuroLeague average €6.3 million, a five-percent increase.
Limoges and Nanterre posted the strongest budget growth, at 16 and 15 percent respectively. Saint-Quentin has the smallest budget at €3.7 million, but commits a league-high 43 percent to payroll, compared with the competition’s 29-percent average.
