David Andersen is back to ASVEL

David Andersen struck a deal with ASVEL for the remainder of the season to serve as a replacement for the injured Adrian Uter, per the team announcement.

The 36-year-old veteran forward/center, one of the top big guys in Europe during the 00s, spent also the previous season in Villeurbanne averaging 11.3 points plus 6.4 rebounds per game and helping the team win the French league title.

Andersen has won the EuroLeague thrice in his career, in 2001 with Virtus Bologna and in 2006/2008 with CSKA Moscow. He last played for the Melbourne United in Australia.
