AS Monaco completed their successful week with a win over Antibes on the road 85-76. After making to the quarterfinals of the Basketball Champions League Monaco recorded their 17th win in the French ProA League.

It was a comeback win for coach Zvezdan Mitrovic’s squad as they were trailing in the first period. Their usual defense was not there in the first ten minutes of the match as the host scored 25 points, building a nine points lead (25-16).

However, at halftime, the lead was just one point (41-40) and the game remained close until the last five minutes when Monaco stepped up and ultimately won, thanks to Paul Lacombe who finished the game with 20 points. Elmedin Kikanovic was his right hand with 18 points.

Jerel Blassingame had 17 points for the hosts, but that didn’t save them. With this win, Monaco moved up to a 17-6 record while the Sharks fall to a 9-14.
