Nanterre 92 added Nick Johnson to Pascal Donnadieu’s roster, but won’t have the 26-year-old American guard in Basketball Champions Quarterfinals two-game series against Segafredo Virtus Bologna. The newcomer will replace Dominic Waters in the Jeep Elite squad while the 32-year-old American guard is on the injury list.

Johnson last played in Europe for FC Bayern Munich during the 2016-17 season. The Arizona alumni spent the rest of his professional career between the NBA and the G League. This year he had 13.9 points, 6.3 assists, 4.4 rebounds, 1,3 steals and 0.6 blocks in the G League.

Waters helped the French club get this far in the BCL with 10.8 points, 3.8 assists, 1.6 rebounds and 0.6 steals per contest, but will be out for a few weeks. He also has 11.5 points, 4.4 assists, 1.7 rebounds and 0.9 steals per Jeep Elite match this season.
