After losing in the Turkish Cup semifinals to Beşiktaş, Anadolu Efes suffered two more defeats in the EuroLeague, against Crvena zvezda and ASVEL.
Pablo Laso’s side had a chance to recover in Turkish BSL Round 21 and made the most of it, defeating Manisa 85-76 on the road.
Jordan Loyd led Anadolu Efes with 20 points, while Saben Lee added 18 points along with 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Sehmus Hazer contributed 12 points, and Brice Dessert added 10.
For Manisa, Judah Mintz scored 19 points, and Maozinha Pereira added 17 points.
With the win, Anadolu Efes improved to 13-7 in the BSL standings, which is currently only enough for sixth place.
