Bahçeşehir snaps Efes’s good streak in the domestic competition. The Eurocup team secured the win at home (85-76) to end Anadolu’s four victories in a row in the BSL.
Tyler Cavannaugh (20 p.) and Malachi Flynn (18 p.) led the victory. In Pablo Laso’s team, Jordan Loyd (24) was the top scorer. Sehmus Hazer added 18 points. Efes falls to a 14-9 record now.
Efes started the game shooting well from beyond the arc (11-13) in the first quarter, but the local team fought back in the second to take the lead before the break (37-31).
Laso’s team couldn’t increase the pace in the second half. They tied it up with four minutes to go (86-86), but Bahçesehir secured the tough win at home (85-76), breaking the four wins in a row streak for Efes.
