Fenerbahçe comfortably defeated Merkezefendi (82-69) in Nicolò Melli’s return to the EuroLeague champions. The Italian center had been out since February and was making his comeback to Jasikevicius’s team.

Talen Horton-Tucker (17 p.) and Arturs Zagars (14 points and 6 assists) led the win in Estambul. Melli scored only 2 in 17 minutes. Wade Baldwin, Nando de Colo, Bonzie Colson, Mikael Jantunen, and Khem Birch did not play.

Fenerbahçe dominated the first half (51-33). Jasikevicius’ team shot really well from beyond the arc with Nicolo Melli back in the starting lineup.

Merkezefendi stepped up after the break with an impressive 12-25 in the third quarter, but the Yellow team controlled the fourth quarter to avoid any comeback at home (82-69).
