Anadolu Efes has struggled to find consistency throughout the season and remains below expectations in both the Turkish League and the EuroLeague, but Pablo Laso’s team is not giving up.
Efes recorded its second straight win in the BSL after defeating Petkim Spor on the road, 85-60. The Istanbul side improved to 16-9, though it still trails league leader Fenerbahce by five wins.
Jordan Loyd led the way with 26 points, shooting a perfect 6/6 from beyond the arc, while Şehmus Hazer followed with 11 points. P.J. Dozier added nine.
On the other side, Yannick Franke paced Petkim with 13 points, while Martynas Sajus posted a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds.
To finish Sunday’s action, Galatasaray comfrtably defeated Bursaspor 92-70 despite Michael Smith’s 19 points for the away team. Ridvan Oncel, James Palmers and Jerome Robinson scored 15 points each to guide the easy win for Gianmarco Pozzecco’s team.
