Turk Telekom renewed contract with captain Dogus Ozdemiroglu

The future of Dogus Ozdemiroglu, expected to be one of the most important names in the local player transfer period this summer, has been clarified.

According to information obtained by Eurohoops, the national player of Turk Telekom signed a new 2-year contract with the Ankara representative.

The 30-year-old player has been one of the most important parts of Turk Telekom in recent years and continues to serve as the team captain. Turk Telekom finished the regular season of the Turkish Insurance Basketball Super League in fifth place. The Ankara team will face Anadolu Efes in the first round of the playoffs.

The capital representative also had a successful season in the EuroCup, being eliminated by JL Bourg, the champion of the tournament, in the Semifinals.

Dogus Ozdemiroglu played in 29 games this season in the Basketball Super League, averaging 11.4 points, 5.2 assists, and 3.7 rebounds. The experienced guard also averaged 8.7 points and 4.4 assists in 23 EuroCup games.
