Shane Larkin scores career-high, leads Efes to Turkish League title

Shane Larkin put on a career-high as he led Anadolu Efes to an 89-74 Game 7 win over Fenerbahce Beko and to the Turkish League title (club’s 14th).

Larkin nailed 20 points in the first half and 38 in total while shooting 11-18 from the field. He also added three rebounds and four assists and was named the MVP.

The 26-year-old’s performance is the second-best in a Turkish League Final behind David Rivers’ 40-point game with Tofas back in 2000.

Vasilije Micic followed him with 20 points while for Fenerbahce, Kostas Sloukas scored 21 in addition to Nikola Kalinic’s 19 points.

Fenerbahce was ahead 23-21 after ten minutes but Efes went on the halftime rest with a 44-37 advantage. They kept going led by Larkin and were up by as much as 21 points (83-62) leaving no chance for Fenerbahce’s comeback.
