Panathinaikos found the center the club was looking for in the face of American Vincent Hunter, thus completing its transfers before the second leg of the Top 16, with an athletic big guy. The team anounced the addition of the American big man for the rest of the season.

The 22 year old player  has begun his first season as a pro this year in the NBA D – League with the Reno Bighorns. His great performances (21.8 points and 11.3 rebounds per game in 32 matches) attracted Panathinaikos’ attention and are now bringing him to Greece. Coach Sasa Djordjevic expects from Hunter to become the ideal supplement of Miroslav Raduljica in the team’ frontline, with his strong athleticism.

The only question mark that is left has to do with Ognjen Kuzmic. The Serbian center is already in negotiations with Panathinaikos concerning his future, but it is quite likely that he will stay as an eighth foreign player eligible to play only in Euroleague. Same thing as with Sasa Pavlovic.
