BC Khimki added American power forward Perry James Jones III to the roster. The contract has been agreed for one season. The 25 years old player arrives from the NBA D-League, where he played for Iowa Energy and Oklahoma City Blue. Before that, he played for the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA for 3 years, after joining from Baylor Bears of the NCAA.

Some quotes from Dusko Ivanovic, BC Khimki’s head coach: “Perry is a good player who can bring a lot for our team at the position four. He has a good shot; he can play open, one-on-one and low post positions. He runs well. I hope that he will bring variability to our attack. He will need time to adapt to Europe because European basketball is a little different. However, I think Jones is a good option for us”.

Some of Jones’ achievements:
2010 – McDonald’s All-American, third-team Parade All-American,
2011 – Big 12 All-Rookie Team, second-team All-Big 12,
2012 – Third-team All-Big 12, selected by Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round (# 28 overall) of the 2012 NBA Draft
