Zenit recovered from a six-game losing streak in all competitions by grabbing an 84-82 road win against PARMA in VTB League.

Sergey Vozniuk took over the coaching responsibilities for Zenit in this match as the club recently parted ways with Joan Plaza.

PARMA recovered from an eight-point deficit (73-65) early in the fourth quarter and pushed the game down to the wire but Will Thomas scored a layup in the last second to give Zenit the win.

Thomas finished the game with 12 points, ten rebounds and five assists while Austin Hollins scored 15 and Dmitry Khvostov 14 points.

For PARMA, Maxim Grigoryev scored 16 in addition to Nikolai Zhmako’s 15 and Adas Juskevicius’ 14 points.

Zenit currently sits at the sixth spot of the standings with a 7-10 record after this much-needed win while PARMA is in eighth place with the same record.
