Khimki survived Astana at Kazakhstan

Led by Alexey Shved (23 p.) and Jacob Pullen (21 p.) the Russian club managed to avoid the upset as Astana had the last possession and 11 seconds for a last shot, but lost the ball.

Ousman Krubally with 29 points and 13 rebounds had an amazing game for the hosts and got help from former Olympiacos and AEK guard Dimitris Katsivelis with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists.

After this result Khimki has a 18-5 record and a one win advantage over Lokomotiv Kuban (17-5) which dropped to the fourth spot, while Astana finished the regular season eighth with a 9-15 record and will face CSKA Moscow in the playoffs.
