Career-high by Toolson in Zenit victory over Tallinn

Ryan Toolson scored 37 points, more than in another game of his professional career, as Zenit St. Petersbug narrowly beat Kalev 98 – 95 in Tallinn.

This result didn’t change anything in the playoff picture of the VTB League, since Zenit had already clinched second place in the regular season while the Estonian team had been eliminated from the playoffs weeks ago.

Same thing applied in the game of Lokomotiv Kuban against Tsmoki Minsk. The Krasnodar squad won 81 – 72 behind Kevin Jones’ 16 points and 12 rebounds but finished fourth since Khimki “locked” third place earlier with a road victory over Enisey.

Tsmoki Minsk finished the regular season 12th with a 5 – 18 record, same as Kalev Tallinn.
