Will Clyburn and Nando De Colo combined for more than half of CSKA Moscow‘s points in Game 3 of the VTB League quarterfinals against Nizhny Novgorod to lead their team to a 72 – 80 away win and the sweep in the best-of-five series.
De Colo scored 21 points and won seven fouls while Clyburn posted a double-double of 21 points plus 10 rebounds, apart from forcing his opponents to foul him eight times. Kyle Hines and Joel Bolomboy added 10 points apiece.
Evgenii Baburin finished with 16 points and six assists while Ian Hummer dropped 15 points for Nizhny.
CSKA guard Sergio Rodriguez was forced to exit the game in the first quarter after 6:28. The first estimation is that the player twisted his ankle, per CSKA. The Russian team is facing Real Madrid in the EuroLeague Final Four (17/5-19/5) semifinal in eight days.
