Janis Timma was hot lately, but picked up a right foot injury and will be sidelined throughout the VTB United League Finals, Khimki Moscow Region announced on Monday. He averaged 14.6 points per playoffs match, but finished the Semifinals series versus UNICS Kazan with a broken toe and will miss the upcoming best-of-five series against CSKA Moscow.
The 26-year-old Latvian forward will need three to four weeks to recover.
Game 1 of the VTB Finals is set to take place on Wednesday.
