Dubai secured a place in the ABA League Finals after winning the third Semifinal game, played in Zenica, against Buducnost with a score of 103–77.
In this way, Aleksandar Sekulic’s team defended home court and ultimately, with a 2–1 series result, booked their ticket to the ABA League grand Final, where they will face Partizan.
Dzanan Musa led the winning team with 20 points, including four three-pointers and five assists, Mfiondu Kabengele had 13 points and seven rebounds, Dwayne Bacon added 12, the same as Kenan Kamenjas who also had ten rebounds, Bruno Caboclo scored 11, and Justin Anderson finished the game with ten points.
On the other side, Yogi Ferrell recorded 17 points, Jerry Boutsiele added 15, Fletcher Magee 11, while Juwan Morgan contributed ten points.
Although drama was expected, Dubai settled the whole matter already in the first half. The home side opened the game brilliantly, gaining a sizable lead as early as the first quarter, while in the second quarter the scoreboard showed 46–23 for the EuroLeague member.
At that point it was already clear that Dubai would reach the finals, and the only thing left was to see the final score. Aleksandar Sekulic’s team merely maintained the margin, and in the end the final score was 103–77.
The final series will be played in a best-of-five format, and Dubai will have home-court advantage.
