Demond Mallet who at age 38 continues to play at a high level was publicly honored with a life-sized banner and retirement of his jersey by the club for which he won the 2008 ULEB Cup Championship with in FIATC Joventut Badalona.
Mallet who has had a great career playing in both the Eurocup and Euroleague for multiple teams, winning two German Championships, one German Cup, one Belgium Championship, and the prestigious Spanish Kings Cup will decide whether to retire or play one more season this summer.
The American player has a contract to coach in the next season in Joventut. He scored 23 points with 4 assists in this season’s final game.
