Valencia Basket announced that center Tibor Pleiss had to retire from the last Saturday’s practice when he noticed a puncture in the sole of his right foot.
After further examinations and the tests that have been submitted on Monday morning, it was confirmed that the German player suffered from a torn plantar fascia in the right foot, thus he will not be able to return to compete for the remainder of the 2017-18 season.
