The prosecutor requested 16 months in prison for Marcus Slaughter and Andy Panko before the trial for the infamous “Slaughter case,” also wants 22 months for the rest of the people involved, according to Spanish reports. The prosecution initially requested a two and half year sentence for the players, their agent and coach Hugo Lopez Munoz.

Panko and Slaughter are accused of falsifying the documents that were used before the 2014-15 season for the players to take part in the ACB for Real Madrid and Fuenlabrada, respectively, without occupying foreign player roster spots. Both Slaughter and Panko obtained Equatorial Guinea passports.

Aside potential jail time for the two players, Real and Fuenlabrada are in danger of losing the games they improperly used them. In this case, the Whites would be stripped of the ACB and Copa del Rey titles of 2015.

Born in 1977, Andy Panko has retired, and 34-year-old Slaughter has signed in Greece with AEK for the upcoming season.
