Kirolbet Baskonia logged a convincing 105-82 win over Movistar Estudiantes at the start of the 2019-20 Spanish League but it came at a cost as Jayson Granger suffered an injury.
Granger exited the floor in the second minute of the game after a full-court defensive effort and a sudden pain sensation. Coach Velimir Perasovic noted that they are still waiting for the diagnosis but it seems serious:
“It’s a grave injury, we are waiting for the medical exams and the final confirmation. It seems as an Achilles injury. It seems serious”, he said at the press conference.
