ALBA, Bayern grab respective victories – BBL Day 21 recap

ALBA Berlin defeated visiting Brose Bamberg with a broad 107-70 victory in Round 21 of the German easycredit BBL.

Marcus Eriksson stepped up for the hosts with a 22-point performance, as Tyler Cavanaugh tapped 20 points and 7 rebounds.

FC Bayern Munich also enjoyed a comfortable evening at home and defeated EWE Baskets 79-58 to remain in charge of the standings with an 18-2 record.

Paul Zipser and Greg Monroe paced Oliver Kostic’s squad with 15 and 14 points each, while Monroe also added 8 rebounds and 5 assists.

MHP Riesen follows Bayern in the second place of the standings with a 16-4 record, while ALBA is currently ranked third with a 14-4 record.
