While there is one more game left to be played out in the 2020-21 German league regular season, the final standings have pretty much been set and most of the playoff matchups decided.

Ludwigsburg finished the season strong, with a 91-77 home win against Bayern Munich, thanks to Jordan Hulls who delivered 22 points and ten assists while Jalen Reynolds scored 21 for the losing side.

The victors end the regular part of the competition with a 30-4 record at the top of the standings and will face off against Brose Bamberg which stayed at the eighth spot despite the loss to Crailsheim Merlins who also made it to the post-season as the fifth-placed team.

Alba Berlin (28-6) will enter the playoff as second-placed followed by Oldenburg (24-9) and Bayern (24-10) whose final placements will be known after the former’s match against Gottingen on May 11. Ulm and Hamburg complete the eight-team playoff field.

Giessen’s Scottie James Jr banked in 30 points while the opposing Braunschweig forward Karim Jallow had 24 as they, together with Ulm’s Troy Caupain (24) and Skyliners’ Jon Axel Gudmundsson (24), led the scorers of the round.
