Trent Lockett, Chemnitz edge Bayern

Trent Lockett buried a game-winning three-pointer in the last 25 seconds and Chemnitz edged FC Bayern Munich 65-63 on the road with a big second-half comeback.

Chemnitz led the opening period 19-16, though Bayern managed to quickly turn the game around in the second quarter and get a double-digit lead at halftime (42-31). The visiting side closed the gap in the third quarter and with nearly perfect defense in the fourth managed to escape with the win.

Lockett was the leading scorer for Chemnitz with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Eric Washington added 11 points.

Deshaun Thomas was one point short of his season-high with 19 points for Andrea Trinchieri’s squad and KC Rivers tapped 12 points.
