Bayern moves to German Cup semifinals over Bonn

Bayern Munich is the last participant in the German Cup semifinals after a 78-86 win over Telekom Baskets Bonn on the road at Telekom Dome.

Pablo Laso’s side will, therefore, face Brose Bamberg in the semis, and the winner will face Ratiopharm Ulm or ALBA Berlin in the final.

Sylvain Francisco led the winning side with 22 points and five assists, while Devin Booker was two rebounds shy of a double-double with 16 points. Carsen Edwards added 14 points, while Isaac Bonga was also on the verge of a double-double with 12 points and eight boards.

For Basketball Champions League defending champions, Christian Sengfelder stood out with 21 points. Brian Fobbs added 16, and Glynn Watson had 15 points, while Harald Frey was also in double figures with 10 points.
