Bamberg stays alive, extends ALBA semifinal series

Bayern Munich will have to wait a little longer to learn its opponent in the BBL Finals, as ALBA Berlin failed to capitalize on its first opportunity to close out the semifinal series.

After winning the first two games in Berlin, ALBA fell on the road in Game 3, with Bamberg claiming an 81-73 victory to extend the best-of-five series.

Cobe Williams led the winners with 20 points, while Ibi Watson added 18. DeMarcus Demonia recorded a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. For ALBA, Norris Agbakoko and Justin Bean scored 14 points apiece, while Moses Wood contributed 10.

Game 4 is scheduled for June 6 in Bamberg, where the hosts will try to force a decisive Game 5.
