Eurohoops’ betting advice (9-10/5)

By Lefteris Moutis/ moutis@eurohoops.net

Last weekend Eurohoops’ betting column was once again verified in 4 marks out of 5. The choices are now limited, but there are several interesting options from Greece, Turkey and Italy.

From the Greek league the over is worth it in the game Panionios-Kifisia since as they have shown in their last games the two indifferent in terms of standings teams can drive the score very high. Besides, neither the relegated Panionios, nor Kifisia who have been out of the playoffs for some time, will put in a special effort defensively in the last game of the season.

Also, despite their two consecutive defeats AEK has an advantage for the win against KAOD. The apparent absence of Pops Mensah-Bonsu however removes some of the team’s dynamics and makes the over more possible, since the teams like to play in a fast pace and with many possessions.

In Turkey, Fenerbahce wants to secure the first place in the regular season, Obradovic has upped the tempo because of the Final Four and Besiktas, due to their many problems, can definitely become easy prey. The handicap is low and Fener can win with a difference larger than 6,5 points.

Tofas have been relegated and mathematically it seems like they’re not in a good position at all, while Banvit is after the best possible position ahead of the playoffs. The visitors have a significant advantage for the win and they can exceed the handicap as well.

In the relegation derby in Italy Caserta shows that they have the momentum to reverse the situation and stay in the league. Besides, they have three consecutive wins against Avellino, Sassari and Reggio Emilia and can get the win against Pesaro, a team that has seven consecutive defeats.
