Karasev presented by the Cavs

Sergey Karasev is ready for the next step in his career. The Russian sharp shooter was introduced by the Cleveland Cavaliers after signing his three-year 4.6 million dollars contract. As he said among other things: “That’s great that my father (ed. note: Vasili Karasev) is the coach of the national team. These last two years we grew up together, so I try to help him, he tries to help me. So it’s going to be very wonderful”. Before the draft, there was a scenario about father and son Karasev ending up in Spartak St. Petersburg, but finally the player will try his luck in the best league of the world after being selected in number 19 of the draft.

Also the Celtics announced the signing of Brazilian center Vitor Faverani who comes from Valencia. His deal is a reported three-year 6 million dollars contract and also a buy out was paid to his former team.
