Metropolitans 92 announced that the team has signed a deal with Josh Owens for the remainder of the season.
The 32-year-old American big started the season with Bahcesehir, averaging 7.5 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists per over 22 games in EuroCup and the Turkish League.
Owens had multiple NBA Summer League stints over the years and played in Italy, Israel and Turkey for various teams.
Metropolitans had to act quickly in order to replace Miralem Halilovic who will be out for the season due to a displaced jaw fracture that he suffered after getting intentionally punched in the face by Roanne’s Boubacar Toure.
