Demetrius Jackson will be out for six to eight weeks after suffering a right leg injury versus Unicaja Malaga on Tuesday, Joventut Badalona announced Thursday. It was his 7DAYS EuroCup debut but lasted only three minutes.
Jackson, 26, according to the timetable set is likely to miss the remaining games of the EuroCup season. He will surely be out next week as Badalona battles on the road versus Nanterre 92 aiming to clinch a playoff berth through Group E.
The Spanish team is 3-2 in EuroCup Top 16 and 12-10 in the ACB.
