Per the press release: Virtus Pallacanestro Bologna S.p.A. announces that it has reached an agreement with Awudu Abass for a contract extension.

General Manager Paolo Ronci stated: “The mutual respect and trust between the club and the player are certified by this new agreement for an extension to June 30, 2024. Abass has and shows deep motivation in wanting to continue his career with Virtus Segafredo, with the common ambition of reaching new goals after the Championship”.

The national team’s small forward, currently playing in the Belgrade Pre-Olympics with Italbasket, has signed a contract extension with the V Nere, which will bind him to Virtus Segafredo Bologna until 2024.

Athleticism and tenacity at the service of the team, Abass has carved out a leading role for himself during his first season with the black and white jersey, which ended with the conquest of the 16th Championship, becoming one of the most effective tactical weapons both in attack and defense.

In the future of Virtus, Abi will still be a protagonist and this is confirmed by the extension of his contract that certifies his bond with the black and white jersey.
