Valencia officially adds Olivier Hanlan

As Eurohoops reported earlier, Valencia Basket has reached an agreement with Olivier Hanlan who will join the team for the rest of the season. However, he can’t be registered for the EuroCup since the deadline has passed and he will play only in the Spanish Liga Endesa.

Per Valencia Basket:

Valencia Basket has reached an agreement with Canadian international shooting guard Olivier Hanlan (1.93m, Gatineau (Quebec), 02/15/1993, 29 years old) to join the Taronja squad for the remainder of the current season. The contract will be confirmed once Hanlan adequately passes the medical examination. The player comes from Aris Thessaloniki, a team with which he was the top scorer in the Greek league with an average of 20.8 points with 38.3% in 3p shots, 3.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists for 19.7 PIR index.

Hanlan played in his university stage at Boston College, was the 42nd pick in the 2015 draft by Utah Jazz, made his debut in Europe playing the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague with Zalgiris Kaunas and has developed his professional career so far between Lithuania, France, the G-League (where he was champion with the Austin Spurs in 2018), Germany, Canada and the last three seasons in Greece between Iraklis and Aris.
