The London Lions are hiring former Austin Spurs coach Petar Bozic as a new head coach, sources tell ESPN. Bozic replaces Ryan Schmidt, who recently left to join the Atlanta Hawks organization.

The Serbian coach is best known as a long-time Partizan captain where he won 17 trophies as a player. In 2013 he became a coach, first as an assistant to Dusko Vujosevic, and in 2015 he become the head coach of Partizan but only for a few months before he was let go.

He departed for the USA in 2017 where he worked for the Austin Spurs
