Joining Baskonia mid-way through the 2022-23 EuroLeague season, Max Heidegger found a new place where to hoop after the start of the European campaign for the second straight year.

Reyer Venice, in fact, officially announced the addition of the 26-year-old American guard, who also possesses Israeli and Austrian passports. He started the 2023-24 season with the Windy City Bulls, averaging 13.0 points and 3.6 assists per game in the G-League.

Previously, he played for Bnei Herzliya – on loan from Maccabi Tel Aviv -, he shone in Germany with EWE Baskets Oldenburg – where he had 18.3 points per game -, and confirmed himself with 19.3 points per night in Turkey with Yukatel Merkezefendi, before finally heading to Baskonia.

Reyer Venice recently announced the addition of former AEK Athens and Los Angeles Clipper player Mfiondu Kabengele, who just debuted in the Italian league.

They’re 1st in the standings in the LBA, while fighting for a playoff spot in the BKT EuroCup, being 7th at 4-9. Prometey, 6th in Group A and last team which would classify for the next stage if the season finished today, is currently at 7-6.
