Tyrone Wallace shines in crucial Turk Telekom win, Prometey advances to playoffs

Turk Telekom Ankara demonstrated their excellent form by securing their fourth consecutive victory in BKT EuroCup Group B.

In a home game, Tyrone Wallace played a pivotal role, tying his career-highs with 31 points and a PIR of 39, as Selcuk Ernak’s team defeated 7bet-Lietkabelis Panevezys 88-73, maintaining their playoff aspirations.

Wallace’s remarkable performance was complemented by James Palmer, who contributed 20 points, while Yigitcan Saybir and Jarrod Jones added 13 points each. On the losing side, Deividas Sirvydis had a solid game with 18 points and eight rebounds, with Dovis Bickauskis adding 14 points.

Mincidelice JL Bourg en Bresse recorded a 68-76 win over Aris Midea Thessaloniki, keeping first place in Group B.

Zaccharie Risacher led the French side with 20 points, while Bodian Massa was on the verge of a double-double with nine points and eight rebounds. Roberto Gallinat was the top scorer of Aris with 20 points, and Vassilis Toliopoulos followed with 17.

Prometey Slobozhanske secured a remarkable 105-113 win against Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv on the road in the Israeli side’s temporary home in Belgrade.

Ronald March led the charge with an impressive 27 points, while Caleb Agada and Gian Clavell contributed 19 points each. Ondrej Balvin finished the match with 16 points, and Oleksandr Lypovyy added 11.

Brian Angola stood out for Hapoel with career-highs in points, scoring 24, and achieving a Player Impact Rating (PIR) of 32. Xavier Munford added 19 points with six rebounds, Tomer Ginat scored 14, Dezmine Wells contributed 13 points, and Will Cummings reached double digits with 12 points for the losing team.

Umana Reyer Venice loses to BC Wolves at home 57-75, losing the chance to advance to the playoffs, as Prometey punched the last ticket in Group A.

Treshawn Thruman led the winning side with 14 points and eight rebounds, Christian Mekowulu added 12, and Garrison Brooks had 11 points. Max Heidegger was the top scorer for the Italian team with 19 points, while Amedeo Tessitori had 13 points with eight boards.

At almost the same time, Dreamland Gran Canaria improved to 12-4 after winning 68-92 on the road against already-eliminated Slask Wroclaw.

Ben Lammers led the scoring sheet for the guests with 12 points, while AJ Slaughter and Ferran Bassas added 10 points each. Miquel Salvo had a team-high Player Impact Rating (PIR) of 20 thanks to 10 points, seven rebounds, and four assists. Dusan Miletic had 15 points for the Polish side, while Daniel Golebiowski added 13.

After 15 straight losses and almost a full year without a win in the EuroCup, Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana finally snapped the losing streak by defeating Veolia Towers Hamburg on the road 83-114.

Jaka Blazic led the way with 24 points, Justin Cobbs added 16 with eight assists, and D.J. Steward followed with 15 points. Zoran Dragic and Karlo Matkovic added 12 points each. As for Hamburg, which fell to 2-14, Aleksander Dziewa scored 21 points, Vincent Earl King had 19, while William Christmas was also in double figures with 15 points.

London Lions clinched a top-four finish in Group A with a big 93-72 win over Besiktas Emlakjet Istanbul, as Matt Morgan shined with 20 points.

Donte Grantham, David Nwaba, and Gabe Olaseni added 12 points each, while Tarik Phillip also finished in double digits with 10. As for Besiktas, Matt Mitchell had 16 points, Kyle Allman added 13, while Angel Delgado and Derek Needham scored 10 points apiece.
