The BKT EuroCup organizations are aggressively shaping their rosters ahead of the 2026–27 Regular Season, with several teams securing key talents while making strategic personnel changes.
In Group B, the Skyliners made significant moves by acquiring 23-year-old guard Judah Mintz on Thursday, followed by the addition of 17-year-old prospect Lenny Benczak on Wednesday. However, the Frankfurt outfit remains in the market for at least one more player since they parted ways with Marcus Garrett. Meanwhile, fellow Group B participant U-BT Cluj-Napoca prioritized long-term development on Wednesday by officially retaining youngsters Andrei Cepoi and Tudor Tancau, and promoting fellow teenage talents Alexandru Campean and Thomas Bernat to the senior squad.
Rotations are heating up across other groups as managements finalize their lineups. In Group D, Balkan Botevgrad completed a massive signing on Thursday by securing the services of 20-year-old Ulrich Chomche. The Cameroonian big brings valuable top-tier experience to the squad, having appeared in seven NBA games with the Toronto Raptors during the 2024–25 Regular Season.
Shifting focus to Group A, Hapoel Midtown Jerusalem secured a major future asset on Wednesday by penning Lior Hershko to a four-year contract. In a move designed to maximize his court time and developmental trajectory, the club immediately loaned the player back to his previous team, Elitzur Shomron, where he will compete in the second division of Israel for the upcoming campaign.
The Regular Season tips off on September 29, featuring four groups of eight teams each battling for a coveted spot in the Eighthfinals.
