Thanks to a strong finish and a partial 28-14 score in fourth quarter, Murcia prevailed on the road over Buducnost (86-75) despite trailing for three quarters in a clash for Eurocup’s group C.

Under new coach, Greek Ilias Zouros, the hosts tried for the best with Marcus Williams scoring 23 points and Shawn James flirting with the double double (10 p., 9 r.). Still Murcia got things going in the last quarter behind 21 points by Vitor Faverani, 18 by Vitor Benite and one more show by Facundo Campazzo (14 p., 4 r., 9 as., 4 st.).

The guests just couldn’t be denied as they finished the game with a 13-4 run after leading just by two points (71-73) with less than four minutes left. After this result Murcia qualified to Top16.
