Fiat Torino head coach Larry Brown announced that he will be departing for the USA to undergo an operation, per Gazzetta Dello Sport.

Brown said that will be absent indefinitely. “I don’t know when I’ll come back,” said the 78-year-old Hall Of Fame coach in the post-game press conference of his team’s 76 – 75 loss to Reyer Venezia.

Torino hired Brown as head coach this summer. He coached Torino in one EuroCup game (a loss to Fraport Skyliners), the aforementioned Italian League game plus two matches for the Italian Supercup.
