Reyer Venezia signed Mitchell Watt to a two-year extension. Watt was one of the top contributors of Venezia in 2018-2019 and the team’s run towards winning the Italian championship title.

Per EuroCup Basketball:

Italian champion Umana Reyer Venice has signed one of the pillars of its recent rise, center Mitchell Watt, for two more years until the end of the 2020-21 season. Watt (2.08 meters, 29 years old) led Venice in scoring last season with 14.0 points per game and in blocks with 0.8 on average. He also tied for second on the team with 5.4 rebounds per game. Venice will be Watt’s second 7DAYS EuroCup team after he averaged 6.3 points and 4.1 rebounds over 18 games of the 2015-16 season for ALBA Berlin, which reached the playoffs that season. Watt has also played for Hapoel Gilboa Galil and Ironi Nes Ziona in Israel before ALBA, and spent time with another Italian team, Juvecaserta, before joining Venice in 2017. He spent four seasons with University of Buffalo before turning pro.
